Prelude to a Purge

Well, its official. Tommorow is the start of a new day and a new begining. I think it is long over due and I am tired of feeling tired all of the time. I figure I will start off with my weigh in on Mondays, a bi-monthly measuring in inches of neck, arms, wrist, bust, upper and lower belly, hips, thighs, calfs and ankles, and then a daily log of at least the food I eat including mindless snacks, all the way down to a cheese sample at sams or Earth Fare. I am determined that this is going to go well and I refuse to let temptation sabatoge my desire to be healthy.

I have a list of all my indugent snacks since I do infact have an insatiable sweet tooth.I will be brewing my Kombucha something fierce for my "soda" fix, and I will be making my frozen fruit "ice creams" since no sugar at all is needed when just using frozen fruit. I have my coconut oil handy for extra calories and to make into faux chocolate bars for when I just gotta, and for crunch for them I have bought some puffed quinoa which I look forward. Even though when I am super watching what I eat I dont tend to each any starches, I am allowing myself oatmeal mainly to help me keep up my milk production. I guess if you look at it, this is probably my most indulgent treat out of everything, As of right now, i cant wait for my morning bowl. In fact I already have it chilled in a bowl waiting for breakfast to be served. nothing like a cold bowl of creamy oatmeal with diced fruit and almond milk to start the day. I cant wait :)

I have already purchased weighed and packaged my meats in 6 oz servings: chicken breast, boneless skinless, Deer, buffalo, tilapia, shrimp, and steaks, cootage cheese and a shit ton of eggs from the farmers market.

My veggies so far: are mostly mixed baby greens, some pak choi, ginger, celery, fennel, okra, and a ton of shredded cabbages and some julliened broccoli slaw. We shall see what expirements will give way to these.

And fruit that needs to be used up is: watermelon, cantalope, peaches, bloobs, oranges, and fuji apples. I know bananas are high in sugar, however I still plan to use them alittle in my "faux" ice cream as it gives a wonderful creaminess and smooth texture to the delectible dessert.

Well it is super late and another great tip for loosing weight is getting sleep. If you dont, your body doesnt have enought time to recharge itself, make repairs and process the previous day, so this is me striving for my children letting me sleep for at least 8 hrs. Will try to update tommorow to let you know how the first day went and the number on the malicious SCALE/TAPE. Hiss Boo!
