Day 11 (August, 16, 2012)

OK so today was a sucky day for eating right cuz i was out and about the whole day.

Breakfast : nothing

Lunch: Late lunch but HUGE had Jason's deli, in fact so full I wasn't hungry for dinner, but I made myself make a shake anyway. No Nos that I ate at Jason's was a very small ice cream topped with granola and some hummus, oh and an oatmeal cookie. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I am trying to limit the starch and carbs dramatically the first 30 days. oh well, at least they are very small cheats.




Dinner: Jay Robb vanilla protein shake, 8 oz of milk kefir, mixed with 8 oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 8 frozen strawberries blended until ultra smooth with jay rob and that was dinner

 Today actually was an easier day. I don't know if it was because I wasn't home and running from here to there. Oh yeah I did have one other snack if you can call it that, I had a sample of mojito quinoa at earth fare. It was a very long day and I have been stressing about my milk production. Today we went to pick up a hospital grade pump in hopes that it will bring it back up. I do realize that I am STARVING after I pump though so I try to eat either an egg or some nut butter right after. Something higher in protein.

  Water. I wish I liked water. I don't, I have a hard time EVERY time I need to force myself to drink. I only mention it again today because I know I only drank a 32 oz container of it and that was it for the whole day. I actually only made the protein shake because I hadn't had enough to drink, well that and I didn't really feel like eating but sure I needed the calories. This morning I was devastated. I went into the kitchen and when moving things on the kitchen counter I accidentally bumped my bottle of grape stevia and it fell to the ground and broke. I am so heartbroken about that.

 I NEED my stevia and here is why. I don't like water. I can drink the daylights out of soda, teas, juices, anything flavored really, but may of those things are very high in calories that I just don't need not to mention the sugars and the artificial sweeteners that can be just as bad if not worse. SO I am addicted to flavored stevia. It is made of an herb and not much done to it. I like it because i only need to use a very small amount in order to make my water taste like anything else and since you use such a tiny amount the price isn't bad for what they ask for a whole bottle. So my todays trek was to earth fare to by some more, this time in berry flavor. YUMMY Stevia is my friend, the root beer makes excellent drinks, the grape, berry, orange and apricot also make tasty soda type flavors, the vanilla, chocolate and raspberry chocolate and hazelnut and English toffee are great for coffees and candies.

  Just little tip for those who have a hard time pushing the water. I also tried to make it easier for me by telling myself that I need to finish x amount of cups or bottles. Most of the time I use a 32oz cup, I know I have to drink 4 of them to "finish" my day. If I use my 24oz bottle I tell myself I need to drink 5 of them. I flavor each bottle or glass and just try to do it. I makes it easier when I am not trying to look at a gallon and just drinking from that. Every time I look at a huge bottle it makes me get all flustered thinking, I have THAT MUCH more to drink?!? It is just too much for me and then I end up walking away from it entirely. So for me it works easier to just make several smaller glasses.

Well that is it for this evening. Thank god/ I cant believe it is already Friday. That is so bizarre to me but it is what it is, I cant wait to see what the scale fairy has to bring me on Monday, just a few more days to go. God willing I can keep the momentum up. Sleep well and Nite All!!!
