Well it has been a good while since I have been on here but I wanted to update saying that indeed I am still on the right path. I regret to inform that I am currently however in the longest plateau I have been in for a very long time. My morning weigh in this morning was 264.2. In one months time I have only lost 1.7lbs. I am going to take a deep breath and be thankful it hasnt been a gain with all the flippin baked goods I have been eating. Thank you Maria! I have however noticed some major inches that have been disapaiting from my body. I am going to post my before and after inches on here below.

and total weight lost in just slightly over 2 months is 28.4lbs I am ok with that. I wish it was more, but I am still waiting for the day the big woosh comes to the scale to get me closer to the direction I need to go. My first mini goal is only 14.3lbs away and I am determined to hit it even with halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years right around the corner. If I can do it during the holidays then I can do it anytime! I Have been taking pictures of everything this month, I swear when I get the chance I will be posting everything that I have made from Marias cookbooks. Lots of love to you all!

Day 31 (September 5, 2012) Delayed 4th Weigh In
Ok, so things have been insanely hectic for a while now. I thought I needed to update.
1. I cant find my camera anywhere, Spazzing over this doesnt seem to help me find it and seeing as how it isnt actually my camera has me flipping out.
2. I have been taking pictures with my cell phone which I only today realized does not have a memory chip since it is a basic phone and I dont have data on it so I cant email it to myself to post.
I have also been attempting to take pictures with my video camera but this also wants to save pics on internal memory and not the chip so I dont know how to work that out yet.
3. I am very excited that one of the big reasons for not updating was because last weds my parents from out of state decided to unexpectedly drop in. They stayed till Saturday Morning since my brother flew in from Korea Friday night. I havent seen him in over 7 years and this was my first time meeting my nephew and my Sister In law. It was a wonderful visit. It was however impossible to keep up with food pics let alone eating.
Ok my delayed weigh in. I did step on the scale and the pic is on my cell phone, to come soon. My weigh in was 265.9. While I was disappointed with the number on the scale I had to remind myself that it is still moving downward. AND seeing as how the dreaded "Lets retain water like a camel" time of the month is here, I am glad it was a loss at all and not a gain.
I am trying harder to get back into the healthier way of looking at food, and cooking. There are so many things to cut out of my baisc diet that help with bloating, headaches, exaustion, thyroid issues, sugar, pcos, depression, and a slew of many other things. I have learned so much over the years on things that i thought were suppose to be healthy for me such as eating low fat which turned out to be a big fat lie and create more health issues. how to eat the right fats and which fats help you actually feel full longer and promote weight loss. How being completely vegatarian can create other problems that I dont feel like dealing with specially since deep down, i dont really want to give up meat since I enjoy eating it.
I started off originally following Maria Emmerich, which I cannot reccomend reading her books enough since they go down to the root of food causing many health issues and I officially own all of her books now. YAY! but the more I am looking into it. alot of it is breaking down to close to a paleo diet. not entirely mind you but very close. So now my research is looking more into that. seeing how I feel with it and taking it one step at a time. I am exausted for now though but would love to go deeper into this so hopefully I can go right back to the groove of daily blogging. Hope the weight fairy is good to all of you. NITE ALL!

Day 23, (August 28, 2012)
So this morning started off well. I actually had 3 meals today and a snack and shared with my son everything I ate and he went nuts over it.
Breakfast: 5 scrambled egg with spinach, cheddar and nutritional yeast and chili paste
Snack: "noodled apples" mixed with yogurt, apple spice, cinnamon and almond butter
Lunch: a very freaking awesome Iced Mocha Frappe! almond milk, ice, jay robb protien powder, cocoa powder, chocolate raspberry stevia
Dinner: Definitely a keeper. Coconut Chicken Broccoli soup. This was sooo simple and incredibly delicious.Boil Chicken breast, Blanch broccoli and garlic, strain and throw in blender, add salt pepper, 1/2 can of coconut milk, and 1 cup of hot water, blend till smooth, i saved half of my chicken diced and 1/4 of my broccoli to have texture to my soup instead of just a puree. It was incredible. I also added chili paste for my flavor and color. I think a shot of lime or lemon woulda been a great addition as well.
Going to bed super stuffer. It was awesome. My son ate almost a whole cup of the soup by himself AFTER he had eaten his diced up chicken and blanched broccoli. He even cried when I turned away from him since he wasn't finished yet. Like a little bird he ate it all up. He was soo tired but so hungry.
My little tip of the day or week or whatever. I wanted to give alittle insight or background as to why I use alot of apple cider vinegar or chili paste. Both are known fat burners. Especially the Apple cider vinegar. I was once told that mixing 2T in a glass of water with some cayenne pepper was like taking a jolt of fat burner. Well to be honest, I couldn't stomach the vinegar. I tried everything. from freezing it in tiny cubers wrapped in spinach leaves so i could swallow it without tasting it. to pill form, while pill form is definitely easier, i actually acquired a taste for it by mixing my 2T in a 32 oz cup of water and sweetening it with flavored stevia. I acquired so much a taste that I am now very very heavy handed when making it. the cayenne pepper too, powder that shit is gross in a drink, but the chili paste has also been an acquired thing, started very small and now it is also added like water. But likely you will see most of my meals incorporating both of these things not only because i have grown to love the taste,, but because they are high fat burners. Hooray for melting fat!!!
Stay tuned for my experiments in my dehydrator tomorrow. I am out. Nite All!

Day 22, 3rd Weigh In (August 27, 2012)
So weigh in this morning wasnt too bad. I lost just over 3lbs this week so I am happy that it wasnt a stall or a gain. Hooray! Dancing a small jig because I have officially left the 270's and am now anxiously awaiting leaving the 60's. For a total of 25.4lbs down and 17.2 more to go till I hit my first goal. Its hard to believe I lost so much water weight the first week. I am happy to see that I am leveling out though. I just hope next monday continues with the downward spiral instead of the inevitable platuea. The hardest thing in the world for me is to continue what I am doing when the scale refuses to budge. it makes it too easy for me to fall off the wagon even if only for alittle bit. I cant afford to undo anything I have already done. I am just over 10lbs away from being pre baby weight for my 2nd baby. I AM DETERMINED!!!!
I didnt really eat well today because of guilt.
Breakfast: Nothing
Lunch: rediculously large broccoli slaw same as yesterday but the chicken was baked in the BBQ of americas spice instead of boiled. mixed with one avocado, chili paste, genorous splash of Apple cider vinager, and lucas and gomasio spice.
Late snack: 1 grilled spinach and cheese sammich on ezekial bread, toasted with coconut oil, and a grapefruit.
So that was all I have eaten today and lets just say that I have felt so guilty about eating the 2 slices of bread that I havent been able to bring myself to eat anything else. I have only had two waters today and no where near enough apple cider vinegar to drink. Of course To be honest I am really not that hungry right now anyway. But still guilt guilt guilt. I promise to myself to do better tommorow. I do have enough food to get me through just to lazy to cook anything hense the raw today minus the sammich. I am looking forward to Whole foods on wednesday and farmers market. I am desperate for some more farm eggs, I think I am going to have to get another 2 flats. 60 eggs just barely last us two weeks. i miss my boiled egg snacks. I think that or a spooful of nut butter keep me out of trouble.
Now on to week 4 of my journey, it is hard to believe it has been that long already, it is actually going by much faster than I anticipated. Nite All!

Day 21 (August 26, 2012)
Breakfast: coconut, nutmeal, flax, faux cream of wheat with strawberry preserves mixed in, omg yummy
Lunch: 1lb of brocoli slaw that had red cabbage and carrot added to it, mixed with 1 avocado, apple cider vinegar, lucas spice, some gomasio, and chili paste
Dinner: a Matcha green tea Protein Frappe YUM! Oh so I wasnt really hungry after the huge lunch so and I had been dying for a matcha frappe so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone. 12 oz of vanilla unsweetened almond milk, 12 oz milk kefir, 1 scoop vanilla jay robb protien powder and 1 Tablespoon of Matcha, 8 cubes of ice and blended till creamy frothy and delicious!!!
I just wanted to post a picture of my frequent used bowls to give you an estimate on how much I am literally stuffing my face. I am normally not starving i dont think ever lest i am going through cravings.
The inner bowl is the smallest holding only 3/4 cup or 6 oz, this is the one I normally will have ice cream or any dessert.
The next one up is 1 3/4 cup or 14 oz this is for what I consider a small meal or a side dish of something, possible breakfast like oatmeal or cereal of some sort or maybe scrambled eggs.
The next size up is my big bowl. This holds about 24 oz filled to the brim. I normally use this for soups, faux noodles with sauce, or sauteed veggies, back in the day this was my cereal bowl. I also will use this to hold watermelon.
The last bowl is my rediculous bowl. This monstor is 80oz, also known as a serving dish. I got several of these when staying at the RMD house from nothing but noodles when they were catering for a 28 families. I got to keep the bowls and use them for my salad. Seriously, 3 cups of salad is only like 20 calories if you are using the high quality salad like dark greens and not the nutrient absent iceberg lettice that is all water and thats about it. 20 calories? seriously I fill this bad boy to the top with my salads and that is my meal. I never come away from that hungry. This is the bowl I serve my raw greens in. That is about the only thing I will allow myself to eat in this bowl though because it is so big. Maybe the once in a blue moon serving of popcorn as well. But honestly I only have popcorn when I visit the inlaws. It converts to waaay to much sugar so I try to avoid it except for special treats. When you see a picture of a salad though ...yeah, it is in my 80 oz bowl or 8 cups of lettuce.
I am soo sorry I have not been keeping up with my blog so I tried to get caught up today and instead of making one insanely long entry from the 16th to the 26th, I decided to just post my entrys and back date. They are very very short though truely just what my meals were for the day.
I am very excited to see what my morning weigh in is. I dont feel like I have lost anything this week. I know I am not quite getting my water in each day. I am getting about 3 to 3 1/2 of my 32 oz cups in so not bad, but not a goal. This week is going to be a good one though. I look froward to Wednesdays playdate and the opening of a whole foods. It is indeed going to be a good week and all kinds of exciting girly stuff should be coming in the mail as well as some major baby fluff for my daughters butt. I am unsure if I am just going to post pictures, or if I am going to go ahead and just post a new video on Youtube. It is soo exciting so I am just holding my breath till it gets here, hope I dont pass out!
Thats it for today, wish me luck on the morning scale, I feel deserving of whatever it has too offer me. Nite all!
